The P.G. Department of Commerce & Business Administration, Khalsa College Amritsar organized Workshop on “Business Related Web Pages Development” on 4^thNovember, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Computer Lab in the Department for commerce. The Resource Person of this workshop was Mr.Rohit Sharma from Life Long Learning Department, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. This event was planned and executed under the direction of Principal Dr.Mehal Singh {Workshop Chairman), and Dr.A.K.Kahlon (Workshop Director).Dr.Rachhpal Singh (Workshop Co-ordinator) highlighted the main theme of this Workshop that it aims to createunderstanding of the Web Pages Development. He enthused the students that virtually every industry and sector of the workforce has an online presence; many high-paying jobs are available for talented web design professionals. Learning web design is a great way to lay the groundwork for further skills development in computer science, data science, graphic design, or motion graphics.

The Resource person addressed the students that learning Web development exposes students to develop skills like critical thinking and problem-solving which help students in their educational journey. In addition to the benefits it provides in the classroom, there are also numerous career opportunities available for students who choose to create a career in web development.

Principal Dr.Mehal Singh exhilarated the students that Web development is an in-demand skill in every industry. Whether you want to work at a startup tech company, in healthcare, finance, creative agency, for the public sector, or a mixture of all these, learning web development gives you the opportunity to get your foot in the door anywhere.

Dr. A.K. Kahlon energized the students that the Web development skills are important because they are in high demand and can lead to rewarding and lucrative careers for the students. Prof. Meenu Chopra conducted the stage and presented vote of thanks. Around 70 students participated in this programme.
