The Post-Graduate Department of Commerce and Business Administration, Khalsa College, Amritsar organises the valedictory function of “Certificate Programme on Banking, Finance and Insurance Sector (CPBFI)” in collaboration with Bajaj Finserv Ltd on 7th February, 2023. This programme was a part and parcel of MoU signed between Khalsa College Amritsar and Bajaj Finserv Ltd. to impart practical training and essential skills to the students with a view to create employment opportunities for them in Banking, Finance and Insurance Sector.
The programme was launched on 8th September, 2022. The programme was planned and executed under the supervision of Dr. Mehal Singh (Principal and Programme Chairman) and Dr. A. K Kahlon (Dean and Programme Director). Dr. Ajay Sehgal (Programme Coordinator)welcomed all the resource persons, faculty members and participants. He threw light upon the activities performed by the students during the programme and appreciated students for their active participation.Dr. Mehal Singh during his address to participants highlighted the significance of practical knowledge along with theoretical aspects of finance for professional development of the students.
Dr. Kanwaljit Singh, Lead Trainer, CPBFI applauded the engaging behaviour of the students toward the course. More than 50 students from the commerce department completed the programme and44 students were the star performers. He emphasized that the participants were very dedicated and quick learners. He felicitated the organising team and the students of Khalsa College for successful completion of the program.
Dr. Megha (Assistant Programme Coordinator) delivered the vote of thanks to Bajaj Finserv, Dr. Mehal Singh (Principal), Dr. A K Kahlon and Dr. Ajay Sehgal for organising this programme. Dr. Taminder Singh (Dean Academic Affairs), Dr. Sawraj Kaur, Dr. Deepak Devgan, Dr. Poonam Sharma, Dr. Rachhpal Singh and other faculty members of Commerce department were present during the programme.
