P G Department of Commerce and Business Administration Khalsa College Amritsar organized Alumni meet 2023 to honour its alumni working in various departments
P G Department of Commerce and Business Administration Khalsa College, Amritsar organized Alumni meet on 18thFebrary, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the department. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr.Mehal Singh said that the purpose of the alumni meet is to promote and foster mutually beneficial interaction between the alumni and the present students of the college and between the alumni themselves. Dean and head of the department Dr. A K Kahlon and coordinator of the alumni meet Dr.Sawraj Kaur welcomed the alumni and addressed that “Maintaining relations with alumni is very important as it helps to build on the existing legacy and improve placements of students through alumni connection”. The old students of the department from various batches including Mr.Daljeet Singh, Mr.Jaspreet Singh, Mrs.Navpreet Kaur, Mr.Jaskaran Singh, Ms.Preeti Singh, S.Gurvinder Singh, S. Manpreet Singh and Ms.Komal Bawa attended the meet and made the day memorable for themselves and the department. The alumni’s were honoured by the head of the department Dr.A.K.Kahlon and the co-ordinator of the meet Dr.SawrajKaur. They appreciated the efforts of the department for organising the function punctiliously. Dr. Nidhi Sabharwal thanked the alumni by saying that this meet will help us to encourage, promote and facilitate education, research and other activities of the department.Prof. Meenu Chopra took over the charge for broadcasting of the event.Dr. Deepak Devgan, Dr.Poonam Sharma, Dr. Ajay Sehgal, Dr.Rachpal Singh alongwith Committee members Dr.Nidhi Sabharwal and Dr.SamiyaChatthaand other faculty members also attended the alumni meet.
