Educational Tour of Economics Department on September 11, 2015

PG Department of Economics Khalsa College, Amritsar The educational tour of the students of Economic Society of Khalsa College was organized by Head of the PG Department of Economics, Prof (Mrs.) Jagwinder kaur Ghuman and Senior Professor, Dr. (Mrs.) Geetinder Mann to show the functioning of solar plant, installed at village Chinna Bidhi Chand, Amritsar on 11th Sep, 2015. Detailed information was given to the students regarding the generation and transmission of the electricity and working of solar plant system. The project is spread over an area of eight acres and was established with an investment of thirty crores. Thereafter, the students visited the nearby historical Gurudwara at village Bidhi Chand and returned to the college in the afternoon..
