ChemiFeista, an Intra-college competition was organized by the Dunnicliff Chemical Society, PG Department of Chemistry, Khalsa College Amritsar, on 26th October, 2023.

ChemiFeista, an Intra-college competition was organized by the Dunnicliff Chemical Society, PG Department of Chemistry, Khalsa College Amritsar, on 26^th October, 2023. The event involved various intra-college competitions for students viz. quiz competition, declamation, scientific rangoli making and poster display. This event aimed to promote interest and enthusiasm for chemistry among students and create a platform for showcasing their knowledge and talents. The competition was open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students majoring in chemistry. More than 80 Students from various departments of the college participated in the event.

The event   began   with   the recitation of the college shabad by M.Sc. Chemistry students. Dr. Navalpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Ishu Sharma, a 3rd-semester M.Sc. Chemistry student, welcomed all the guests, faculty, and participants. This was followed by a welcome address by Dr.Amit Anand, Head of the Department of Chemistry. He formally welcome the chief guest, Dr.Mehal Singh, Principal of Khalsa College, faculty members and students from different departments of the college.The inspiring talk by Dr.Mehal Singh, Principal of Khalsa College Amritsarencouraged students towards engaging in extracurricular activities for their overall personal growth.

The valedictory function was held at the end of the event, where the winners of the competitions were awarded trophies and certificates by Dr.Mehal Singh, Principal, Dr.Taminder Singh Bhatia, Dean Academic Affairs and other faculty members from different departments of the Khalsa College Amritsar. Dr. Kular Singh gave concluding remarks, expressing his satisfaction with the success of the event and congratulating the winners.Overall, the one Day ChemiFiesta 2023 was a resounding success, providing a great platform for students to showcase their skills and awareness in the field of Chemistry
