On August 1st, 2022, the Department of Chemistry at Khalsa College, Amritsar organized a faculty enrichment program on "Trends of Technology in Teaching" with Dr. Mandeep Singh Bakshi as the keynote speaker.


 

On August 1st, 2022, the Department of Chemistry at Khalsa College, Amritsar organized a faculty enrichment program on "Trends of Technology in Teaching" with Dr. Mandeep Singh Bakshi as the keynote speaker. The event was organized by Dunnicliff Chemical Society and aimed to provide an opportunity for faculty members to learn about the latest trends in technology and how they can be incorporated into teaching. The program started by extending warm welcome to our guest speaker by Dr BK Randhawa, HOD, Chemistry, Khalsa College Amritsar.

Dr. Mandeep Singh Bakshi, an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay, was the keynote speaker for the event. Dr. Bakshi has extensive experience in teaching and research in the field of chemistry, and his work focuses on using technology to enhance teaching and learning.

During the program, Dr. Bakshi covered various aspects of technology in teaching, including the use of virtual and augmented reality, interactive whiteboards, and educational apps. He also discussed how technology can be used to facilitate collaborative learning, engage students, and assess their learning outcomes.

Following the presentation, there was a lively discussion among the faculty members, with many sharing their experiences and ideas on how technology can be used in the classroom.
