On October 18, 2023, Mr. Amit Mahajan, Online and Offline Tutor, delivered a lecture on "Future of EdTech" in a webinar at the Smart Room of the Department of Chemistry, Khalsa College Amritsar. The lecture was organized by Dr. Navalpreet Kaur, Coordinator of Dunnicliff Society of Chemical Sciences, started at 02:00 PM. The programme was started with a warm welcome and brief introduction of speaker by Dr Aabroo Mahal, Assistant Professor of Chemistry. Dr Amit Anand, Head of Department of Chemistry, also welcomed Mr. Amit Mahajan and expressed his gratitude.

The webinar was attended by a large number of students alongwith the faculty members who were interested in exploring career opportunities in EdTech. Mr. Amit Mahajan explained the use of technology, particularly digital technology, to enhance and facilitate the learning and teaching processes. EdTech covers a wide range of tools, software, hardware, and educational practices that influence technology to improve education, whether in traditional classroom settings, online learning environments, or hybrid models. The speaker also shared valuable insights and information about the various career paths that are available to chemists in EdTech, including online and offline modes. He shared his own experiences and provided tips on how students can enhance their chances of getting selected in top coaching institutes in India.

The lecture was well received by the audience, and a question and answer session was also held at the end, where students and faculty members had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Amit Mahajan and clarify their doubts.

Dr Amit Anand, who addressed the gathering, appreciated Mr. Amit Mahajan for sharing his expertise and thanked him for delivering an informative and engaging lecture. This lecture was a great learning opportunity for the students and faculty members and provided them with valuable information about the career prospects in chemistry education in EdTech.
