The P.G. Department of Chemistry, Khalsa college, Amritsar had organized “Chemistry Magic
Show” on 03/03/2021. The main aim was to share the importance of science and inculcate scientific
temperament among the students by showing experiments like Magic milk experiment, Elelphant
Toothpaste experiment, Dancing Rice. Our department decided to showcase these scientific
experiments to nearby school students to show some magical chemical experiments. Students of the
KCIPS Ranjit Avenue were very excited and expressed their views towards taking up a scientific life.
The Msc students showed some experiments from their textbooks and explained the concept of acid-
base, redox reactions, precipitation reactions, science in everyday life, etc.
