Department organized a one day Industrial visit for M.Sc. Food Technology and BFST students to Ajnala Co-operative Sugar Mill. Students learned about the equipment, process and machinery involved in the manufacturing of different sugar and sugar products including their quality. They also had an idea about sale purchase mechanism of sugarcane by different sugar mills.
