Seminar on Challenges of Food Safety Officers dated 12.03.2022

Department organized a seminar on dated 12.03.2022 entitled “Challenges of Food Safety Officers” on theAlumni meet function. Two alumni of the department namely M/s Prabjot Kaur Food Safety Officer Jalandhar and Mr. Amandeep Singh Food Safety Officer Amritsar interacted with the students. They discussed in detail about various duties of a Food Safety Officer and challenges that they face while performing their duties. They also guided the students about how to prepare for Food Safety Officers’ exam and websites they should look for job opportunities in Food industry, Food Safety and FSSAI. They encouraged the students to work hard for the preparation of upcoming opportunities as Food Safety Officers in different food sectors such as Food industry, Hotel industry and as a Food Business Operator.
