The P.G. Department of Food Science and Technology at Khalsa College Amritsar recently organized a thought-provoking seminar on "Entrepreneurship in Food Processing." This event, held in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Cell (IIC) at Khalsa College, brought together students, faculty, and experts in the field of food science and technology.

The seminar featured an esteemed Guest Speaker, Prof. Dr. Dalbir Singh Sogi, a distinguished figure in the realm of food processing and entrepreneurship. With over three decades of experience in the field, Dr. Sogi's insights provided invaluable knowledge to the attendees.

The seminar was aimed at fostering entrepreneurial spirit among the students and encouraging them to explore opportunities in the food processing industry, which is witnessing rapid growth and innovation. In his enlightening presentation, Dr. Sogi discussed various aspects of entrepreneurship in the food processing sector, including market trends, technological advancements, challenges, and potential business opportunities.

Principal Dr. Mehal Singh while addressing the audience said, “entrepreneurship in the food sector is a dynamic and ever-evolving landscape. Dr. Manbir Singh, Head of the P.G. Department of Food Science and Technology, expressed his gratitude to Prof. Dr. Dalbir Singh Sogi for gracing the seminar with his presence and sharing his valuable insights.
