Visit to Central Potato Research Insitute, Jalandhar

A visit to Central Potato Research Institute Jalandhar was organized by Department of Food Science and Technology to acquaint students about recent automated techniques in potato growing such as aeroponics and hydroponics. Students also came to know about the technology about manufacture of dehydrated potato cubes and potato noodles. Prof. Manbir Singh, Prof. Davinder Pal Singh and Prof. Rajan Sharma accompanied the students.
