Zoological Society organized an Educational Tour to Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Science University (GADVASU), Ludhiana to provide a practical approach to the subject of Applied Zoology.  The visit was conducted on 14th November, 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Jasjit Kaur Randhawa (HOD), Dr. Amandeep Singh and Prof. Randeep Singh. The students of M.Sc. Zoology Sem. III visited various animal rearing farms like Cattle & Buffalo Breeding Farm, Poultry Research Farm and College of Fisheries. Students were also taken to the hydroponic unit adjoining the fisheries farm where the waste water of fisheries farm was being utilized to grow vegetables. At each farm, the students were accompanied by the research professionals from the university who provided a thorough knowledge of the setup and operational aspects. The research professionals also answered to the queries of the students to set up their own farms as a part of entrepreneurship venture.
