Gender Champions Club and Red Ribbon Club, Khalsa College Amritsar organized lecture on “Reflection of Righteous Life” on 28th January, 2025
Gender Champions Club and Red Ribbon Club, Khalsa College Amritsar jointly organized lecture on ‘Reflection of Righteous Life’ on 28th January, 2025 at 11:00 am in the college seminar hall. This event was planned and conducted under the directions and guidance of Principal Dr. A.K. Kahlon. The event aimed to inspire students and faculty members to lead a virtuous and meaningful life while promoting values of righteousness, equality and responsibility in society.
The chief guests of programme were Dr. Satnam Singh Deol, Head and Associate Professor of Political Science, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and Mr. Preet Kohli, Assistant Director, Youth Welfare Services, Punjab Govt. Dr. Deol delivered an insightful lecture on the essence of righteousness, urging students to align their personal and professional lives with integrity, honesty and truthfulness. Mr. Kohli also addressed the participants to focus on acting with integrity, treating others with kindness and respect, being honest and truthful.
Principal Dr. A.K. Kahlon appreciated the initiative taken by both the organizing clubs and emphasized the need for such programs in shaping young minds for a better future.
Dr. Sawraj Kaur, Nodal Officer welcomed the guest and addressed the importance of leading a life which is rooted with righteousness, compassion and integrity.
Dr Parminder Singh, Nodal Officer introduced the speaker, highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering a positive and value-driven campus environment and proposed a vote of thanks.
Dr. Devender Singh (Registrar) congratulated the clubs for their efforts in arranging such a meaningful event and highlighted the relevance of such meaningful discussions.
On this occasion, Dr. Aatam Singh Randhawa (Head, Department of Punjabi), Dr. Surjeet Kaur, Dr. Deepak Devgan, Dr. Poonam Sharma, Prof. Heera Singh, Prof. Kuldeep Singh (Punjabi Department), Prof. Randhir Singh (Chemistry Department), Dr. Rakesh (Agriculture Department) were present to motivate the students. Prof. Meenu Chopra, Dr. Harpreet Kaur Mehrok and Dr. Navpreet Kulaar took over the charges for broadcasting the event. Gender Champions and representatives of Red Ribbon Club Kiranpreet Kaur, Pawandeep Singh, Gurasees Singh, Harmanjit Singh, Gurnoor Singh, Snigdha, Rishi Chopra, Ashima Nagpal, Shubh Sen, Sanjana, Tamanna, Sanjana, Gurbaz Singh, Kirti Arora, Prabhjot Kaur, Sharanjit Kaur and other members of club were also present. Around 150 students participated in the event.
