NCC GROUP COMMANDER VISITED KHALSA COLLEGE AMRITSAR

Brig.K.S.Bawa Group Commander , NCC Amritsar , visited Khalsa College, Amritsar on May 7 2024.Brigadier KS Bawa while having a fruitful interaction with Principal Dr Mehal Singh and NCC incharges of the college, expressed that NCC plays a significant role in shaping the life and career of our youth. Col A S Aulakh, SM, CO 1 Punjab Girls battalion, was also present on this occasion. Dr. Mehal Singh the Principal, Khalsa College Amritsar emphasized on increasing the NCC vacancies in the college. He also raised a pertinent point that there should be no clash in the timing in NCC Camp and exam dates. Brigadier Bawa assured that these concerns would be resolved for the betterment of NCC cadets to pursue NCC at Khalsa College. He also highlighted the need for construction of Obstacle course and short range firing range for further enhancing the capability and training of NCC cadets.

Dr. Taminder Singh Bhatia, the Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. Harbilas Singh Randhawa, ANO Army Wing, Dr. Mohan Singh in-charge of the Air Wing, and Dr. Parminder Singh in-charge of the Naval Wing also shared their views regarding their respective wings. Brigadier Bawa and Principal Dr. Mehal Singh exchanged mementos as a goodwill gesture.
