The P.G. Department of Political Science and Public Administration organized a Guest Lecture on Revenue Administration & Citizens on October 25, 2024. S. Ram Singh (PCS), Principal, Patwar School, Moga was the resource person. The function began with the college traditions, Prof. Devender Singh, Registrar of the college introduced the resource person. Principal, Dr. A.K. Kahlon welcomed the Guest Speaker. In his address, the speaker gave a thought-provoking lecture on the various intricacies of the revenue administration. He explained the key revenue terms rooted in Persian language in simple form besides sharing experiences how revenue administration is a challenging job. He further stressed that one should not hesitate in owning responsibility while discharging official duty, a small initiative can deliver unexpected results. In concluding remarks, he elaborated various advancements in the revenue administration as well as the digitalization of revenue records. After the lecture, students raised queries regarding revenue administration and services, which were answered by the speaker. At the end, Dr. Dawinder Kaur, Convener of the Political Science Society extended vote of thanks.
