“Free Physiotherapy Remedial camp”
Khalsa College Amritsar has organized “Free Physiotherapy Remedial camp” for Neck pain & Back pain and awareness regarding lifestyle modifications at P.G. Department of Physiotherapy, Khalsa College Amritsar on 31stAugust, 2024. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Mehal Singh, Principal Khalsa College Amritsar. The camp was organized with a vision to conduct a remedial teaching session for patients suffering from Neck pain & Back pain due to muscle spasm, poor postural habits and insufficient dietary intake.
The session included the entire assessment of the patient first performed through questionnaire and the protocol was planned according to the symptoms. The camp was schedule from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Patients from college campus and the areas nearby the Khalsa College Amritsar availed the free services of this camp.
The camp was supervised by Dr. Varinder Kaur, Head Physiotherapy Department. The staff members Dr. Mansi Tuli, Dr. Anmoldeep Kaur, Dr. Sandeep Pal, Dr. Gurleen kaur, Dr. Satkarjit Kaur, Dr. Mansimrat Kaur, Dr. Kulwant Kaur, Dr. Sandeep Kaur, Dr. Kiran Aroa, Dr. Arpandeep Kaur, Dr. Riya Khullar and Dr. Shubkarmanpreet Kaur were present in the camp.
Principal Dr. Mehal Singh congratulated the head of Physiotherapy Department Dr. Varinder Kaur and the other staff members of the Department for organizing such event and assured that the college will keep providing such free services to the society to improve the quality of living through the camps in the future also.
