BOOK FAIR ORGANIZED AT DEPARTMENT OF PHYSIOTHERAPY
The PG Department of Physiotherapy organized a two-day long ‘BOOK FAIR’ on 27th and 28th August, 2018. The collection of national and international authorized books of medical sciences and physiotherapy was displayed by ‘Medical Book and Surgical Centre, Amritsar’ for selling and exhibiting books. Apart from the academic books related to the curriculum of the physiotherapy students, the books related to research and advanced techniques in the field of physiotherapy were also exhibited. The majority of the collection of the book fair was focused on the ‘Elsevier Titles’. The motive behind the book fair was to make the students well acquainted with the recent academic texts. The students showed a great enthusiasm for the book fair and also purchased various books on discounted prices. The faculty of physiotherapy also participated in this fair and found it extremely beneficial. Principal Dr. Mehal Singh visited the book fair and encouraged the students to develop a habit of reading books everyday related to all areas of life, which will make them great thinkers, innovators and leaders. Dr. Davinder Kaur Dhillon, Head, Department of Physiotherapy, Dr. Kawaldeep Kaur, Dr. Harneet Kaur, Dr. Manu Vishist and other faculty members of the Physiotherapy were present on the occasion.
