“Two days workshop on PNF”
The Department of Physiotherapy, Khalsa College Amritsar organized two days workshop on topic “Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation” on 23rd &24th November, 2023. The workshop was inaugurated by the Dr. Mehal Singh, Principal, Khalsa College, Amritsar. Dr. Manu Vishist, Head Department of Physiotherapy welcomed the resource person Dr. Harpreet Singh, Senior Physiotherapist, AIIMS New Delhi. Dr. Manu said that the workshop was organized keeping in view the important of learning hands on techniques of PNF on different body parts for the treatment of various neuromuscular problems. A total number of 46 students of BPT and MPT participated in the workshop.
Dr. Harpreet Singh taught students the basic concepts, assessment and how to use different Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation techniques on different body parts. Students got sufficient time to practice hands on techniques of PNF.
Principal Dr. Mehal Singh congratulated the head of Physiotherapy Department Dr. Manu Vishist and the other staff members of the Department for organizing such event for student’s benefits. Staff members Dr. Aman Navneet Kaur, Dr. Varinder Kaur, Dr. Jobandeep Singh, Dr. Chitvanjeet Kaur, Dr. Amanpreet Kaur, Dr. Kulwant Kaur and Dr. Mansi Tuli were present in the workshop.
