The Department of Physiotherapy, Khalsa College Amritsar organized two days workshop on topics “MET, MFR and Tapping” on 29^th &30^th April, 2023. The workshop was inaugurated by the Dr. Mehal Singh, Principal, Khalsa College, Amritsar. Dr. Manu Vishist, Head Department of Physiotherapy welcomed the resource person Dr. Sanjiv Kumar Jha, IAP President. Dr. Manu said that the workshop was organized keeping in view the important of learning new techniques of physiotherapy for the treatment of various common musculoskeletal problems. A total number of 43 students of BPT-3^rd & 4^th year participated in the workshop.

Dr. Sanjiv taught taught students the basic concepts, assessment for use of muscle energy technique, myofascial release technique and tapping for use in common musculoskeletal conditions. Students got sufficient time to practice hands on techniques of MET, MFR and tapping.

Principal Dr. Mehal Singh congratulated the head of Physiotherapy Department Dr. Manu Vishist and the other staff members of the Department for organizing such event for student’s benefits. Staff members Dr. Aman Navneet Kaur, Dr. Manpreet Kaur, Dr. Shubhneet Kaur, Dr. Amanpreet Kaur and Dr. Ravneet Kaur were present in the workshop.
