Amritsar, March 5, 2025 — A sense of nostalgia filled the air as the Postgraduate Department of English at the historic Khalsa College, Amritsar, organized its much-awaited Alumni Meet 2025. Dr. Arvinder Kaur Kahlon, the Principal of the college, graced the occasion as the chief guest, adding prestige to the event.
The program began with the soulful recitation of the college Shabad, setting a reverent tone for the gathering. In his address, Dr. Arvinder Kaur Kahlon shared insightful thoughts on the challenges of professional life, urging the alumni to value the life lessons and skills learned at the college. She emphasized how these qualities help individuals to tackle life's challenges efficiently and with confidence.
Prof. Supninderjeet Kaur, Head of the Department, warmly welcomed the guests and emphasized the significant role alumni play as valuable assets and brand ambassadors of the institution. She highlighted how their achievements reflect the college's legacy and the nurturing environment, it provides.
Several alumni shared their reminiscences about their time at Khalsa College. They shared heartfelt memories, expressing their deep gratitude to their teachers and the institution for equipping them with the knowledge and values that led to their success.
Prof. Vijay Bernard graciously introduced the esteemed alumni and skillfully hosted the event adding a touch of elegance to the stage. Prof. Pooja Kalia concluded the event with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the presence of faculty members and the continued bond between the alumni and the institution.
