Students of Khalsa College Outshine in Wordsmith’s Arena
25 January 2025, Amritsar: The students of Khalsa College Amritsar won different competitions in Wordsmiths‘s Arena: an Inter-College Competition organised by Hindu Kanya College Kapurthala on January 24,2025. Dr. Arvinder Kaur Kahlon, the Principal Khalsa college, informed that students were prepared for competition under the aegis of Post Graduate Department of English , she facilitated and congratulated the students and faculty of English for the victory. She further said that and participation in inter-college competition nurture the spirit of accepting challenges and equips students with confidence to tackle problems of life. The college takes every measure for the holistic development of its students.
Prof. Supninderjit Kaur, Head of the Post Graduate Department also congratulated the students and appraised that the students participated in the six Competitions. The College quiz team that consisted of Miss Rupninder Kaur and Miss Ameet Kaur of M.A English bagged first prize , while Shivam , Najuk , Salarajit Singh and Sumit Sharma students of B.A won first prize in Cultural Confluence. Miss Snehpreet Kaur of M.A Psychology stood second in Spell Bee Competition.
