Kirtan by Music Department Students on the 7th Guru’s Birthday
On the auspicious occasion of Guru Har Rai Ji's Prakash Gurpurab, a Kirtan Jatha of Music Department performance was held at Khalsa College Gurudwara Sahib.on 10 feb. 2024 at 4.00 to 5.00 p.m Devotees gathered in large numbers to celebrate and pay homage to Guru Har Rai Ji, the 7th Sikh Guru known for his compassion, wisdom, and commitment to humanity.The Kirtan Jatha, consisting of talented students presented a series of soul-stirring hymns (Shabads), beautifully composed in various ragas. The hymns sung by the Jatha highlighted the teachings of Guru Har Rai Ji, focusing on love, humility, and devotion to God. The congregation was deeply moved by the melodious and heartfelt renditions, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. The Sangat (devotees) joined in the Kirtan, singing along with the Jatha, creating a unified and joyous atmosphere in the Gurudwara.
