Tech Era Computer Society of School of Computer Science and Applications, Khalsa College, Amritsar organized two days “SPORTS MEET 2025”. The event was designed to encourage both mental and physical agility of the students and staff, providing a platform for everyone to showcase their skills in various competitions. On the First day, technical & indoor games were conducted in Computer Science Department which includes LAN Gaming, AI/IoT enabled car race, Chess, Glass race and Badminton. Next day, the events such as 100 meters race, 200 meters race, 400 Meter Relay race, 3 leg race, were conducted in the main ground of Khalsa College, Amritsar. The event was inaugurated with the college shabad. Dr. Harbhajan Singh Randhawa, Head, School of Computer Science and Applications welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr. Arvinder Kaur Kahlon, Principal, Khalsa College, Amritsar and the Guest of Honors, Dr. Taminder Bhatia, Dean Academic Affairs and Dr. Daljeet Singh, Head, Department of Physical Education by giving them mementos. Dr. Harbhajan Singh Randhawa gave a welcome speech and also said that the students of Computer Science Department have shown immense interest in all the events. Dr. Arvinder Kaur Kahlon, praised the efforts of the School of Computer Science and Applications for organizing such an engaging and inspiring events. She emphasized the importance of sports in our life which help us to remain mentally as well as physically strong. The SPORTS MEET 2025 was concluded with the prize distribution by Principal, Dr. Arvinder Kaur Kahlon. Medals were awarded to all winners in various events. The B.Sc. (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science) won the overall trophy. Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur, Dr. Mani Arora, Dr. Rupinder Singh, Prof. Prabhjot Kaur, Dr. Anureet Kaur and other staff members were also present.
