The Economics Society of Post Graduate Department of Economics, Khalsa College, Amritsar organized a visit to Wonderland Amusement Park, Jalandhar on 28.02.2025. Twenty four members of Economics Society (From B.Sc (Eco) and M.A (Eco)) were accompanied by Dr Supreet Kaur, Dr Seozy Bhatia and Dr. Rachhpal Singh of Economics Department. On the way to Jalandhar, students enjoyed a lot in the bus and showed their dance talent and had refreshments at Haveli Restaurant, Jalandhar. The students arrived at the amusement park at 11:30 A.M. in the morning and were greeted by the Park’s Staff. They were given a warm welcome and briefed about the various rides and attractions available. The amusement park offered a wide range of rides, attractions and entertainment options. Students enjoyed a range of thrilling rides, including roller Coasters, Spinning Tea Cups, water rides etc.. They visited Horror house and enjoyed boating too. It was a great opportunity to bond with the teachers and students outside the classroom. Moreover, students had delicious lunch at the restaurant in the Park. The visit was organized by the society, which aimed at providing a much needed break for the students from their academic routine. Thus, this recreation visit to the amusement park was a great way to promote team work, camaraderie and stress relief among the students. The day ended with a lot of fun and enjoyment. All the members of society had a great time there. The Students came back to College at 8:00 P.M.
