Rangoli and Diya Decoration Competition
Economics Society of PG Department of Economics organised “Rangoli and Diya decoration Competition” on Oct 22, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. in the P.G. Department of Economics. From Various Classes of Economics Department, 10 teams, comprising of two students each (20 students) participated in the Rangoli competition and 15 students participated in Diya Decoration Competition. Co-Convenor of Economics Society, Dr. Supreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, P.G. Department of Economics welcomed all the participants and announced the names of two judges (Mrs. Mehtab Bajwa and Ms. Jagdeep Kaur, Assistant Professors, Department of Fine Arts) for Judgement. All the ten teams made Rangolis in the given specified time limit. The participants of Diya decoration also decorated their Diyas in the given time limit. After the completion of the events, results were declared by Judges. Dr. Anju Sharma (Convenor, Economics Society) appreciated Guneesha Makkar of M.A (Eco) Sem III (President of Economics Society ) and Jaskiran Kaur of B.Sc (Eco) Sem V (Secretary of the society) and all other participants for their efforts and thanked them for their participation. On this occasion, all the staff members of P.G. Department of Economics were also present. Refreshments were also given to the participants.
