Economics Society of P.G. Department of Economics organised “Union Budget Viewing Session” on July 23, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the Seminar Hall, Khalsa College, Amritsar. The event aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Union Budget-2024-25, its implications and the economic policies outlined by the Govt. of India. The event featured a live screening of the Union Budget presentation, followed by a discussion and analysis by faculty members of Economics Department and Students. All the faculty members of Economics Department and 60 students attended the Budget Viewing Session The session encouraged critical thinking, analysis and discussion among Students and it highlighted the importance of Economic Policy in shaping the Country’s future. Students found the session very informative and insightful. The students also learned that budgeting is essential for managing finances effectively and achieving the financial goals.
