Economics Society of P.G. department of Economics celebrated Scribble Day on April 17, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the department with great enthusiasm and joy. The event aimed to encourage creativity, self-expression and out-of- the box thinking among the students of B.Sc (Economics) and M.A (Economics). Students showcased their artistic skills and creativity. Dr. Anju Sharma (Head and Convenor of Economics Society) welcomed the students and gave them best wishes for their bright future. She praised the students for their achievements and encouraged them to stay in touch with the college. Students and teachers wrote best wishes and heartfelt messages on the t-shirts of the outgoing students. The event featured various cultural performances including Songs, dances and Mimicry. Student’s efforts and achievements were acknowledged through messages by the faculty members of P.G. Department of Economics. In the end, refreshment was given to the students. Dr. Supreet kaur (Co-Convenor of the Economics Society) extended a vote of thanks to all the participants and students of Economics Society. A farewell ceremony was also held to bid adieu to the outgoing students of M.A. Sem IV and B.Sc (Eco) Sem VI. The outgoing students expressed their gratitude towards their teachers and shared their experiences and memories of their time in the College. The farewell ceremony was a memorable event for both the outgoing students and the juniors. Faculty members of Economics department, Dr. Geetinder Mann, Dr.Saveeta, Dr. Navjot, Dr. Seozy Bhatia, Dr. Rachhpal Singh were also present during the event.
