One-day Workshop on “Social Media & Mental Health”
The Workshop on “Social Media & Mental Health,” held on 11th November, 2024, was a remarkable achievement. The event was graced by Dr. Taminder Singh Bhatia, Dean Academic Affairs, and Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur, Dean Humanities. The resource persons, Dr. Vijendra Nath Pathak, Department of Psychology, Lovely Professional University, & Ms. Nisha Nanda, RCI-licensed Clinical Psychologist shared their valuable insights regarding the theme of the workshop and enlightened the audience.
The faculty members of various other departments also attended the event and contributed to its success. Students from many other departments joined the audience and learnt the implications of how social media has inevitably affected the mental health of humans in the present era.
The students of M.A. Psychology as well as B.A. Psychology worked tremendously well in organizing the event and their collaborative effort reflected their team spirit and exceptional dedication towards excellence.
