Khalsa College Amritsar organized seminar on “DIGITAL INDIA” December 17, 2016
The seminar on “DIGITAL INDIA” was organized by Tech-Era Computer society of P.G. Department of Computer Science & Applications, Khalsa College Amritsar. Mr. Harjit Singh, Senior Consultant , Tata Consultancy Services, New Delhi delivered lecture at this event regarding “DIGITAL INDIA”. He said that Digital India is a programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. He discussed three visions of Digital India that is Digital Infrastructure, Governance & services on demand and Digital empowerment of citizens. At the end he discussed various pillars of Digital India that are necessary to make our country a Digital India.
Principal Dr Mehal Singh, Prof. Harbhajan Singh Randhawa, Head Computer Deptt. and Prof. Kawaljit Kaur gave floral welcome to Mr. Harjit Singh.
Principal Dr. Mehal Singh, Khalsa College Amritsar welcomed Mr. Harjit Singh. He praised about the lecture and said that these kind of lectures provide current knowledge to the students. He also congratulated Prof. Harbhajan Singh Randhawa, Head & Faculty members of Computer Science Department for arranging such lectures.
At the end Prof. Harbhajan Singh Randhawa, Head, Computer Science department gave vote of thanks. Event was coordinated by Prof. Kawaljit Kaur, Prof. Prabhjot Kaur & Prof. Ravi Patni and stage was handled by Prof. Anureet Kaur. During this event Prof. Gaganpreet Kaur, Prof. Poonamjit Kaur, Prof. Rupinder Kaur, Prof. Kulbir Kaur and Prof. Sonali Tuli were also present.
