A one day seminar on Cyber Security held on 18.08.2018
‘Cyber Security’
A one day seminar on ‘Cyber Security’ was today organized by P.G. Department of Computer Science & Applications, Khalsa College, Amritsar. Ms. Sugandh Khanna Center Head, CACMS Institute was the guest speaker.
Principal Dr. Mehal Singh welcomed the guest speaker. Ms. Sugandh Khanna spoke about cyber security and discussed the importance of security of data. She also talked about vulnerability of data. She gave an insight into how hackers gain access to private data and what measures can be taken to prevent hacking.
Students of B.C.A. (Sem. V), B.Sc. (IT) Sem. V, M.Sc.IT and M.Sc.(CS) attended the seminar. Principal Sir encouraged the students and appreciated the faculty members of the department for conducting the seminar.
Prof. Sonali Tuli handled the stage, while Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur, Dr. Mani Arora, Prof. Sukhpuneet Kaur, Prof. Anureet Kaur, Prof. Kulbir Kaur & Prof. Ravi Patni were also present.
