National Cadet Corps (NCC)
NCC inculcates discipline, patriotism, punctuality, competitiveness, team-work, confidence, personality development among its cadets. It is the right step for a college going student to take so that he/she can develop leadership skills. The college has Air Wing, Naval Wing and Army Wing which students can take up. The enrolment process starts at the beginning of college session in July every year.
Air Wing – Care Taker : Dr. Gurvel Singh Malhi
NCC Air wing is working very well in the College. There are total 60 cadets, of whom 46 are S D and 14 SW cadets. These cadets have participated enthusiastically in a various camps organized by the NCC UNIT and, brought laurels to the college. Prominent camps include: Combined Annual Training Camp, National Integration, Air Force Attachment Camp, Vaiyu Sanik Camp etc.
Naval Wing - Teacher Incharge : Dr. Iqbal Singh
11 cadets have participated in Independence day prade on 26-01-2017. Five cadets of 3rd year of NCC naval wing participated in the C-level certificate examination on 05-02-2017 and 10 cadets of 2nd year of NCC naval wing participated in the B-level certificate examination on 14-02-2017. 15 cadets have participated in Combined Annual Training Camp held at Amritsar from 13-06-2016 to 22-07-2016. 12 cadets have participated in International Yoga day camp on 21-06-2016.
Army Wing - ANO : Dr. Jaswinder Singh
10 cadets have attended CATC Camp at Millennium School from 13 June to 22 June, 2015. Cadets have attended International Yoga Day at Millennium School on 21st June,2015. Five cadets have attended Army Attachment Camp from 1st to 15th September, 2015. College wing has organised live telecast of Start up India event on 16th January,2016 inaugurated by Shri Arun Jaitley. Cadets Tarwinder Singh and Jobanpreet Singh have been selected for Basic leadership camp at Malout from 21 st to 30 January, 2016. Cadet Manpreet Singh and Tajinder Singh won 1st and 3rd position in 5 Km marathon at GNDU Campus on 24 January, 2016. Cadet Ritika has been selected to attend Guard of Honour at NCC group HQ Amritsar from 5-8th February, 2016.
