Five Days Rejuvenation Camp organized by Faculty of Agriculture


At a time when the youth is at cross  roads caught between the fast moving technologies of social media and lack of physical activities, many problems have emerged in the face of stress and anxiety that effect mental health and physical well being. In such a scenario, the right balance needs to be maintained between mental and physical health.

Agriculture Society of P.G. Department of Agriculture, Khalsa College, Amritsar organized a five day Rejuvenation Camp in Collaboration with National Youth Awardees Federation of India (State Champion J&K) in the campus.

The Principal, Khalsa College, Dr. Mehal Singh inaugurated Rejuvenation camp along with Head, P.G. Department of Agriculture Dr. Randeep Kaur Bal and other faculty members including President NAYFI-J&K Dr. Ripu Daman Parihar who is National Youth Awardee coordinated the events with various Stress Management Activities. Also 150 students participated in various activity games like Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Tug of Wage, Archery, Relay Race, Cognitive and reaction games, Dodge ball etc under special guidance of expert instructors of Department of Physical Education, G.N.D.U, Amritsar. Yoga, Meditation, Music, Group Discussion for personality development for leadership qualities and stress management also formed part of the camp.

Dr. Mehal Singh reaccelerated that energy of the youth should be channelized for the constructive works for the society of such initiatives are encouraged in large scale. Dr. Randeep Kaur expressed her sincere thanks to the members of agricultural society, organizers, faculty members and NYAFI team for their collective efforts to make the camp success.
